As a web designer I use this app to find color inspiration for site design. Im able to take the color hex codes from the swatches with ease and use in photoshop. I would think interior designers would love this app too.

The app crashes when you try to use it. Every single time.

Whenever I try to use the app, it shuts down

Interesting concept but the interface is non-intuitive and annoying to use. You have to double tap or triple tap on colors to do different things to them for example. This is a very simple program that could easily have had an intuitive interface. All it does is it lets you select colors from a photo and display them in little squares. Not a good value considering how annoying it is to use.

This app is great! I use it to match color families for illustrations I want to do. Sometimes I see a moody palette and I want to remember it for later, it works perfectly. Not to mention Im currently using it for picking out furniture colors for my new apartment. Highly recommend this purchase!

Easy to use. The feature to pull colors from photos is awesome. It can be used for any color needs.

This app is for professionals and amateurs alike. Color911 is like having a professional in your pocket - it is useful for any color application you have in mind. Want to decorate a room around a favorite painting or photo? Just take a photo and Color911 will give you an array of options that will work! The descriptions are so clearly written and easily understood!!!

Wonderful app and great way to choose colors. I love snapping pictures of my colors and creating my own palette. Especially useful when shopping for accessories for my home. Just used this to create a new color palette for my living room and getting rave reviews from visitors!

Im a colorist, and after buying Color 911, I believe its a pretty great tool for developing color ideas. The iPhone is amazing because the camera is always ready to capture a moment - with excellent fidelity. I used to carry a camera everywhere but stopped a few years ago when I realized the phone is better. Color911 is a natural evolution of that amazing-ness because you can then use the app to pick a colors from those photos and identify the color relationships that moved you at that moment. Making and editing palettes is pretty straightforward and you can use the app to save and organize the color. In the few weeks that the app has been out, Ive made nearly a hundred palettes and Im becoming quite used to referring back to them as I work. I think this is an incredibly well thought out tool for brainstorming and sharing color ideas.

Color 911 is an excellent resource for anyone who is interested in color -- painting, redecorating, even for a wardrobe. It will totally help keep me and others from making costly mistakes in terms of color choices! Its easy and fun to use, too.

This app is so helpful finding colors and putting palettes together. Its also so helpful to keep all my ideas organized and at my fingertips at all times! I absolutely recommend it!

First, you pay for the app, which makes me feel I should be getting something that works. Second, you pay again for every palette you want to download that might work with your colors. Third, I shot a large carpet sample, but it was unable to recognize the blue undertone of the grey carpet. Fourth, I shot a paint swatch and it couldnt register the color anywhere near close to the correct hue. Biggest waste of time and money Ive ever been tricked into trying.

I have been a color professional for over 25 years and can say without hesitation that this is the best color app on the market. It has been useful to me personally in developing paint color palettes. It allows me to keep tidy records of my schemes for easy access. My husband uses it to help coordinate his wardrobe! Really. He is better able to shop for new clothing using the color info hes stored. The app is great for our family and is an invaluable tool for anyone in the design industry.
